Situated at the bottom of the Alps, 80 kms from the ski resorts. Aups is well known for its truffle market hold every Thursday from November to February, it supplies and the entire greatest Restaurant “Chefs” from all around with it.

While walking in the picturesque old streets you will discover treasures from the past: the keystones on the houses, the ancient fountains and the several sundials.

Historic sites to see:
The ruins of a 12th c. fortified castle, doors and ramparts ot the 12th and 16thc., the clock tower and its campanile, the Collegiate church St. Pancrace, the Ursuline convent (private cloister), Museum Simon Segal, Museum of Faskod (exhibition park).

Activities:
Pétanque (French bowls), tennis, horseback riding, swimming pool, fishing, There are many excursions available in the area such as Torrent La Grave, the forest road, and the lake of Ste. Croix (14km.).
